Founder & Product Lead
Angie is the founder and product lead behind ContrastHR. She works at the intersection of business, technology and client experience, turning real operational headaches into practical tools that make running a business easier.
ContrastHR grew out of a common problem for growing companies: employee information scattered across spreadsheets, inboxes, paper files, and processes that get harder to manage as the team grows. Angie remains closely involved in the direction of the platform and works directly with clients to understand what they need, simplify their processes, and make sure the technology actually works for the way their business operates.
Her philosophy is pretty simple: technology should make your job easier—not give you another system to manage.

Director of Client Partnerships
Sam brings a unique blend of business and high-performance experience to ContrastHR. His background in both hockey and business has given him a strong understanding of leadership, culture, and what it takes to perform at a high level.
Before joining ContrastHR, Sam spent several years in professional hockey as both a player and coach. Following his junior career with the Saskatoon Blades, he played professionally in the AHL, ECHL, and Europe before transitioning into coaching at the junior and collegiate levels.
Sam’s business experience includes sales in the automotive industry, as well as business development and fundraising for a non-profit organization in Saskatoon, where he and Angie first worked together.
At ContrastHR, Sam works with clients from the initial conversation through implementation and beyond, helping businesses identify what they need, get set up properly, and feel supported every step of the way.
